I am a Professor of Counseling and Counselor Education with 76 years of experience in addition to being a mental health counselor with 11+ years of experience. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, and utilize a range of counseling theories and modalities to help individuals and families thrive.
Additionally, I am a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) with strong consulting skills in beginning to advanced motivational interviewing (MI), peer consultation, and supervision in MI. I offer structured training programs in MI and am flexible depending on customer’s needs. Distance consulting and MI performance review, coaching, and feedback available. Experience consulting with graduate students, individuals, and mental health and university settings.
